Monochrome engraving of an intimate scene showing Napoleon playing a keyboard instrument in front of a woman in a long dress, surrounded by soldiers and courtesans in a richly decorated setting. On the reverse, the postcard bears a handwritten address to Madame Eugénie Germain in Monthey, Switzerland, with a French postmark from series 1-6006 and a cancellation from Paris dated August 20, 1908.
