Printed text at the bottom details his biography: born in Ajaccio in 1784, fourth brother of Napoleon I, married to Catherine of Wurtemberg, king of Westphalia after Waterloo, father of Victor Bonaparte. Reverse: mention of the History Collection, Paris, and postmark.
