Colorized reproduction of David's (1748-1825) painting depicting the distribution of eagles and the oath of the army to the emperor on 5 December 1804, displayed at the Museum of Versailles. The reverse indicates that the card is published by Deschiens, with an advertisement for doctors and hospitals in Paris.
