Engraved illustration showing Napoleon I's wedding carriage, drawn by white horses and escorted by uniformed riders, with the wedding date inscribed at the bottom. Reverse: green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic, Paris postmark of 20 May 1911, handwritten sender text from A. Beillard to M. J.B. Créancier, principal of the honorary college, with the note 'Partirai demain' and 'Amities'.
