A man in a hat and poncho holds a donkey loaded with a basket of fresh herbs, in front of a stone wall. On the reverse, the publisher is identified as 'Ed. E. Cotini, Napoli', with a recipient address in Paris and a handwritten date of 22 June 1914. A 5 centesimi stamp is affixed at the bottom left, canceled in Naples.
