Description

Colored view of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square, London, with bronze lions at the base and vintage cars in the background. The reverse indicates that the column, erected between 1840-43 according to the designs of William Railton, is 184 feet 11 inches tall, and that the statue of Lord Nelson atop the pedestal is 17 feet 4 1/4 inches tall, work of E. H. Baillie. The postcard is published by Valentine's Postcard & Sons, Ltd. and printed in Great Britain.
