View of the Gate of Paris in Nevers, with the Saint-Pierre Church in the background, under a cloudy sky. The inscription « LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ » is visible at the top of the arch. The reverse features handwritten address to Chanteloup-sur-Durolle, a 10-centime postage stamp, and two circular cancellations from Nevers (05) and Chanteloup-sur-Durolle (05).
