View of the Porte du Croux and Avant-Porte in Nevers, with a medieval tower and adjacent buildings. The reverse side has handwritten correspondence dated March 18, 1940, sent from Nevers Station to Joinville-le-Pont, with two 40-centime stamps and a postmark.
