Black and white view of the port of Cannes with the Casino de la Baie seen from a shaded promenade lined with palm trees. In the foreground, pedestrians and a dog. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated July 22, 1937, addressed to 'My dear Mother,' mentioning a stay in Nice and an arrangement in Paris, as well as the signature of 'Papa Henry'.
