Black and white view of the Jetée-Promenade in Nice, with its imposing dome-building and crowd on the quay, viewed from the sea. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Ruiz in Monceau-le-Neuf, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Nice dated September 15.
