Panoramic view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with a passenger ship in the distance and palm trees lining the quay. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mme Goly in Albeville, dated 1st January 1953, accompanied by a red 1-franc stamp and a Nice postmark.
