Description

Black and white night view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with illuminated cars and palm trees lining the sea. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 13, 1956, sent from Nice to Paris, mentioning a visit to Dijon and a promise to return. A 12 franc stamp depicting the Pont Valentré, with cancellation 'NICE MARITIME 1956'.
