Description

Night view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, illuminated by street lamps and bordered by palm trees, with cars and pedestrians. On the back, a handwritten letter dated July 22, 1947, addressed to G. Jaurès, mentioning a walk in Monaco and a visit to the Villa d'Alj. The Nice postmark is applied, with an obliteration 'EMORINT P.T.T.'.
