Description

Black and white view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice with a sailboat in the foreground, bathers and period buildings in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 21, 1956, addressed to 'My dear wife', mentioning a stay in Nice and a letter sent to Paris. The stamp and postmark are visible at the bottom right.
