Description

View of the Memorial to the Dead in Nice, a work by architect Roger Séassal, set within a rocky landscape with a large arch and a central dome. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated February 11, 1934, sent from Nice to Dieppe, with a violet 40-centime stamp and a cancellation 'NICE N-DAME 11 II 421-9'.
