Description

Postcard showing a Niçard peasant in traditional costume, wearing the "Caireu", in an exhibition at the Musée Masséna in Nice. The setting recreates a local scene with hanging utensils and a large terracotta jar. The reverse indicates the card comes from the Giletta Photography Establishment, Nice, and has a handwritten inscription "Ramini jub. profs. in 1663".
