Description

Colorized view of a palm tree-lined avenue in Nice, with the Palace of the Mediterranean on the left and the Casino of the Jetée on the right, under a blue sky. The reverse indicates the publisher 'C.A.D.S.E. - 106. NICE - PALACE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN AND CASINO OF THE JETÉE' and a handwritten correspondence dated January 1939 to Madame and Madame Boursin in Grenoble. Two French stamps (30c red and 10c blue) are affixed with a cancellation of 'NICE - MAGNIFIES' from 14-3-39.
