Black and white view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with a passenger boat in the distance and palm trees lined along the promenade. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 15, 1952, sent from Nice to Magdeleine in Carcassonne, with a 12-centime stamp and a cancellation 'NICE DES MARITIMES'.
