Panoramic view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with the Palais de la Jetée in the foreground and palm trees along the promenade. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame S. Breton in Mussy-sur-Loire, dated 22 August 1919, with a 20-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Nice.
