View of the exterior of the famous Roman amphitheater in Nîmes, with its stone arcades and a few passersby at the entrance. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Emile Berrillard in Lyon, with a 1907 postage stamp and a Nîmes cancellation mark.
