Description

Interior view of the Arenas in Nîmes, a Roman amphitheater built under Emperor Adrian, with its stone steps and central circular space. The printed text specifies its dimensions: major axis 133 m. 80, minor axis 101 m. 40. On the back, the card bears two 15-centime stamps, a cancellation from Gorges (Tarn) and a handwritten address to Madame L. Laure in Horilles (Lot).
