View of the Garden of the Fountain in Nîmes, a beautiful garden created under Louis XV in 1750 according to the plans of Maréchal, left unfinished on the hillside under Louis XVIII. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Langon, Var, with a green 25-centime stamp and a cancellation from Nîmes-Gambetta dated September 26, 1930.
