Description

View of the Roman temple of the Maison Carrée in Nîmes, with its Ionic columns and triangular pediment, framed by a metal grille. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. W. H. Johnson in Altrincham, England, dated September 20, 1930, accompanied by a 10-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation from Nîmes.
