View of the Maison Carrée in Nîmes, a Roman temple from the 1st century, with its Ionic columns and pediment. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Nickford in Béziers, with a 12-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Nîmes dated May 20, 1905.
