View of the Pont du Gard in Nîmes, with its impressive stone aqueduct. On the reverse, a postcard dated 1945, stamped with 5 francs, addressed to Monsieur Léeech Marcane in Suresnes (Seine), with a handwritten message: 'Bon courage, Souvenirs affectueux'.
