Description

View of the Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct built under Agrippa to channel the waters of the Eure to Nîmes, with its 269 meters in length and 48.77 meters in height. Printed text on the front describes its three rows of superimposed arches. Back: handwritten address to Madame Lada Bokemsta in Marseille, signature of J. Revel, and a green 5-cent postage stamp canceled.
