View of the famous Roman amphitheatre Les Arènes in Nîmes, with some pedestrians and a vehicle in the foreground. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. François Faraut in Monte Carlo, with a stamp and a postmark from Nîmes dated May 19, 1950.
