Exterior view of the Arenas of Nîmes, an ancient stone monument with multiple arches. Printed text at the bottom: '34. NIMES — Les Arènes — Vue extérieure'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated February 28, 1917, addressed to 'Mme Chevalier', mentioning a planned return on March 13 and a letter received on Sunday. Postmark with cancellation.
