Description

Funeral chapel from the 17th century dedicated to Maximilien de Béthune, Duke of Sully (1559–1641), minister to Henry IV, and his wife Rachelle de Cocheffet, separated from the Notre-Dame church because it was Protestant. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 12/6/19, sent from Montmorency (13-6-19) to Madame H. Sourisse in Saintes, with a 15-centime French postmark.
