Description

View of the fortifications of Nuremberg, highlighting the Frauentor with its bridge and cylindrical tower, under a cloudy sky. The back contains a handwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Mother' from Nuremberg, dated November 8, 1918, sent from Munich, with a 5 pfennigs Bavarian postmark and a Nuremberg cancellation. The card also bears a censorship mark 'Habilitat marking' and an address to 'Cosne, France'.
