Description

Postcard showing the obelisk erected at Mont-Genèvre in 1860, commemorating Napoleon I as 'Grand Emperor and Restorer King of France' crossing this road during the campaign of 1800. The back has partial handwritten writing and traces of moisture, with mentions of 'Briançon' and 'Chiantard, Briançon' at the bottom.
