Description

Bronze statue of Monsieur Freppel, dressed in his ecclesiastical robes, on a monumental base in front of a building with arcades. Text engraved on the base: 'ÉLÉGANCE À MONSIEUR FREPPEL'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 9, addressed to 'Mme Chateaubriand', with cursive handwriting and partially legible phrases. Postmark and cancellation not identifiable.
