Description

Panoramic view of the village of Nival in the Somme, taken from the lighthouse, with tightly packed houses on a hill overlooking the sea. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Monsieur Grandtrait in Rochefort, mentioning a car journey and waiting for replies. A 10-centime postage stamp of the French Republic, postmarked with a circular stamp from NIVAL (Somme) dated 12 July 1908.
