View of the Roman Theatre in Orange, a Roman monument built under Julius Caesar, measuring 163m long by 36m high, later converted into a fortress and restored under Charles X. The reverse features a green 5 centime stamp, a circular cancellation from Tarascon (Aude), and a handwritten address to Paris for M. B. Rouillot.
