Printed text at the top and bottom of the card describes the beauty of the location and the annual flower festival. On the reverse, a handwritten French message addressed to Madame M. Parisot in Bourg-en-Bresse, France, with a 2-cent American postage stamp and a cancellation from San Jose, California, dated April 8, 1908.
