Panoramic view of Orléans showing the location of the Fort des Tourelles, with the cathedral in the background. A commemorative plaque indicates that Joan of Arc attacked this fort on May 7, 1429, and that the English lifted the siege the following day. The reverse side features handwritten text dated 23/2/32, addressed to 'My Dear Marcelle,' mentioning 'Freedom' and the 'Tourelles.'
