Description

Black-and-white illustration of the north facade of the Sainte-Croix Cathedral in Orléans, in Gothic style, with inscriptions detailing its reconstruction (1601-1629), the height of the church (87 m), the spire (102 m), and the statue of the Jurisconsult (1699-1772). Back: postcard sent on September 27, 1911, stamped with 50 centimes, with handwritten address to Mr. Baradu at Forest's Cottage, National Street, Samois-sur-Seine, and a message of remembrance.
