View of the City Hall of Orléans, built in 1530 and completely renovated and restored by Danton from 1850 to 1854. In the foreground, the Perron of the Cour d'honneur with the statue of Joan of Arc by the princess Marie d'Orléans. French postage stamp of 10 centimes of the Republic, canceled in Orléans. Reverse: handwritten address to Mr. and Mrs. Barret in Choisir-le-Roi, with a postmark from Marche, Orléans, dated 31 December 1900.
