View of the former Town Hall in Orléans, now a museum of painting, with its square belfry dating from 1453. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to M. Coechwalles in Paris, with a mention of 'Bien du châtaignier' and a signature. A green stamp of the French Republic (5 centimes) is postmarked.
