Description

View of Orléans with the commemorative plaque marking Joan of Arc's entry on May 8, 1429, located near the Petit Pont-Levis. The plaque indicates that the remains of two towers flanked the entrance to the Fort des Tourelles, attacked by Joan of Arc on May 7, 1429. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Poitiers in 1930, with a blue 50-centime stamp and a postmark from Orléans dated May 30, 1930.
