Marble statue depicting a veiled figure holding an olive branch, in front of a wall engraved with « FOR THOSE WHO SLEEP AMONG THE DEAD WITHOUT A CROSS » and « TO THE UNKNOWN HEROES ». On the reverse, text indicating that the statue was executed and offered by Madame Berthe Girardet in memory of her missing aviator son, in tribute to the unknown heroes. Stamp and postmark of the Committee of the National Days of Nancy visible.
