Postcard showing the Ossuary and Lighthouse of Douaumont, a commemorative monument of World War I. The reverse features a poetic inscription describing the monument as a symbol of the immortality of heroes, with the names of architects Léon Azéma, Jacques Hardy, and Max Ebret. A 30-centime tax stamp and a postmark from Verdun dated August 20, 1932. Handwritten address to 'M. H. Pyrincé at Sourdeil'.
