Description

Black and white view of the ossuary and lighthouse of Douaumont, built in 1920 to commemorate the dead of the war. The reverse indicates that the work was authorized by a ministerial decree of December 3, 1919, and that subscriptions were managed by the Treasurer of the Douaumont Ossuary in Nancy. Postmark with cancellation 'OSSUAIRE de DOUAUMONT (Meuse)'.
