Luxurious interior of the Empress's chamber at the Palais de Compiègne, with a richly decorated canopy bed, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with patterned wallpaper. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame Genimal in Châtillon, a 10-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation from Perreux-sur-Marne.
