Description

Black and white view of the main facade of the Palace of Compiègne, with a central-columned porch and a multi-storey symmetrical building. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 13, 1917, from Longueil addressed to André, mentioning a son imprisoned in Germany and a request for an address via the intermediary of Abbé Carpentier.
