Richly decorated interior of the Reception Hall for Foreign Sovereigns at the Palace of Compiègne, with a large wall painting, a suspended chandelier, and framed mirrors. The back features a handwritten letter dated 1914 addressed to Madame and Monsieur Renault at Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme.
