Richly decorated interior of the Cabinet de l'Abdication at the Palais de Fontainebleau, with a crystal chandelier, armchairs, and an ornate desk. Printed text at the bottom: 'On April 5, 1814, Napoleon Bonaparte signed his abdication on this table.' Reverse: handwritten letter dated November 14, 1932, addressed to family members, mentioning news and a request to send photos for Christmas.
