Description

View of the Palace of Justice in Nîmes, built in 1826 on the site of the ancient temple of Plotine, with a pediment decorated with reliefs symbolizing Justice and a Corinthian colonnade. Printed text mentions the large hall and the destruction of the temple by the Vandals. Reverse: handwritten correspondence to Madame J. Carrus in Lille, with address and mention of the correspondence on the front not accepted by all foreign countries.
