View of a monumental staircase in the Palace of Versailles, adorned with carved balustrades, intricate moldings, and a suspended chandelier. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame la Marquise de Bois, Château de Calais, and a 1-franc French postmark from 1907. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom of the front: A.
