Richly decorated interior of the Council Chamber at the Palace of Versailles, with walls adorned with stucco, mirrors, and a large chandelier. Printed text at the bottom: '20 PALACE OF VERSAILLES - Council Chamber. Published for CHOCOLAT-LOUIT'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Madame Chou' from a young girl named Germaine, with a note on foreign countries refusing correspondence on the front.
